MY GARMENTS

These are photographs of my two outfits from todays fashion show.

MY GARMENTS

The dress is very fitted to the body, it was a size 10 but my model was a size 6-8, which is why it didn't look as fitted to the body.

ABOUT THE MODULE

when i was given this project, i was confused , didnt kno where to start. i started collecting research about things that i like and interest me.Then i started putting pages together, my concept wasn't clear at first, the more research i collected, the more my concept became clear to me. After my powerpoint presentation Alexis and the class gave me more ideas to follow on. which is when i came out with the concept COLOUR BOUNDARIES, from my research pages and mood board, i had a lot pleats, curvy, bold coloured images, textured patterns and images. i then started fabric research, where i came across alot of bright summer colours, such as blues, pinks, oranges. yellows and greens. which then lead me to design a spring/summer collection. when i started making my garments i had a few difficulties because my pattern cutting skills we'rent that good, but alexis and rosemary helped me quite alot. i had a few problems in finding the correct fabrics to use for my final garments but got there in the end.
